LümNX 80W Single COB LED

The Fovitec LümNX 80W Single COB LED is a small, high-quality light source with a long-lasting LED that provides bright and flicker-free light for consistently well-lit video shoots. It is a compact, lightweight, and versatile LED video or photography light built to help you tackle virtually any kind of content creation such as a streaming light to YouTube video light. This 80W Chip On Board is capable of dialing in 5600K (daylight), giving you total clarity of your shot, while the stepless brightness dial allows you to easily set this LED output to suit even the most subtle situations where matching brightness or just a small boost of light is necessary. A durable aluminum chassis and the padded travel carrying case ensure portability and lifetime performance for your LümNX no matter where you take it.

The Fovitec LumNX80 utilizes a 80W COB (Chip-On-Board) LED. This single-point light source eliminates the headache of trying to minimize micro-shadows caused by the array of smaller LED’s found on traditional panels. This high-power chip gives 95+ CRI for accurate color representation.

Quiet Cooling System

We understand that a quiet set is crucial to video production. Subtle and stylish cooling vents and robust heat sync designed to draw heat away from the body of the light. Supported by a whisper-quiet internal cooling fan.

LED Pop-Up Softbox

Includes 2x 24x24" Pop-Up Softboxes which set up in seconds attaching securely to the LümNX 80 softbox ring. Included are both an inner and outer diffuser which give multiple lighting options. The pop up softboxes pack away quickly into small 9" carrying bags. The light from these LEDs is often a point of concern for filmmakers, vloggers, and photographers. While most LED panels are designed to project light over longer distances, this can often lead to increased specularity, harsh shadows, and the dreaded "micro-shadows" when working in close quarters. Adding a softbox to your LümNX can solve all of these problems without the need for extensive skrim setups or unsightly gaff tape.

The reflective silver walls of the softbox help create an even spread of light that is then pushed through the removable UV-coated diffuser. This UV coating eliminates magenta color casts often found in cheap diffusers, ensuring your color and tones remain accurate. With a depth of 15", this softbox also gives you greater control over the spread of your light, allowing you to better define the direction and enabling you to create more dimension and mood to your shots.

Setting up this softbox is a breeze. Simply unfold the softboxes and slip the softbox over the body of the LümNX. When you're finished, simply fold the softbox and store it away in the included carrying bag.

NOTE: This softbox is designed for use with LümNX 80W Single COB LED. While the dimensions of this light are fairly common across the industry, we cannot guarantee this softbox will fit on lights from other manufacturers.
