Shotgun Microphone

This universal cardioid shotgun microphone pairs great with a DSLR camera or smartphone. It evens goes great with our 19" Bi-Color Ring Light. Our microphone paired with the ring light is a setup perfect for interviews, podcasts and vlogs. The mic produces broadcast-quality audio in almost any scenario where capturing clear vocals or speech is crucial.

Durable & Compact

At just 3.1" long, 0.9" wide and weighing .06lb, the Fovitec video mic is a great addition for your iPhone, Android, DSLR, PC or Laptop. Its matte finish, durable aluminium body and compact design make it easy to transport anywhere.

You can connect your Fovitec mic up to your desktop computer or laptop to use for a variation of different things, such as: dictation, recording your University lecture, a PC gaming mic, PS5 mic or Xbox mic for when you’re live streaming on Twitch, YouTube or other platforms. This mic can also kick start your Podcast venture for Spotify, iTunes and Google Podcasts.

Directional Sound Pickup

The Fovitec Shotgun microphone utilizes a cardioid polar pattern, this allows you to focus on sound in front of you whilst dampening sound from the rear and sides. This gives you more creative control over your audio & video recordings. Its built-in, active and directional condenser element delivers more detail than the built-in microphones in smartphones, cameras and portable audio recorders.

Shock Mount & Furry Shield

We have simplified the setup of the video mic attachment by including a shock mount that simply clips on. This mount helps to inhibit the transfer of vibrations from the camera, phone or stand. The shock mount also features a camera shoe mount and a 3/8" thread, allowing you to easily attach it to your camera or a boom arm such as the Fovitec 12cm Boom Arm (available separately).

The Fovitec video mic includes a furry windshield to minimize unwanted wind noise from breezes, fans, heaters, and air conditioners allowing you to get great audio quality without the need for a lot of post-production.

No Batteries Required

There is no need for batteries with the Fovitec video mic, just connect the cable to the microphone and then to your camera or audio recorder, simple! This Plug & play system means the video microphone draws its power from the device it is plugged into, so there is no need for swapping or charging batteries. The power drawn is minimal so you don’t have to worry about draining the battery on your iPhone, Android, camera or Laptop PC.
