4-Light Single-Socket Fluorescent Lighting Kit

The Fovitec 900W 4 Light Single Socket Fluorescent Umbrella Kit is an essential piece for any photographer’s studio. This continuous lighting kit is perfect for photographers who have a small/medium sized studio space. The Fovitec Light Kit is also perfect for product photography as well as portraits. The benefit of having this Fovitec 4 Light Kit is that one of the lights can be positioned as your main light source and focus on your subject, the other light can be used for your fill light and aid in lowering your contrast levels, and the two mini light stands can be used for back-lighting. This 4 Light Umbrella Kit features two 33” Translucent Soft Light Umbrellas. Fluorescent bulb Watts x 5 = Incandescent Watts per bulb.

Light Stands

This kit includes three of our 7’6” light stand with standard 5/8” stem mount that can mount any of our photography or video light heads. They are adjustable from 2’3” to the full extension of 7’6”. They have easy to lock knobs for height adjustment. Made of die cast aluminum construction these stands are sturdy while still being light weight at 2.5 pounds each.  

This kit includes our Mini Light Stand with standard 5/8” stem mount that can mount any of our photography or video light heads. It is adjustable form 18” to the full extension of 30”.  They have easy to lock knobs for height adjustment. Made of die cast aluminum construction this stand is sturdy while still being lightweight at 1.1 pounds. This mini light stand is great for a backlight on the background or in areas with limited space.  

Umbrella and Bulbs

The single sockets have a standard E26 Edison light bulb mount that fits CFL daylight fluorescent bulbs. They feature an umbrella mount for use with any Fovitec umbrella. The sockets have long 9.5 foot power cord that allows you to easily move it around your photo studio or set to get the right lighting placement. These sockets are made of a sturdy polycarbonate housing, and it tilts forward or backward for precise lighting. Also, they each come with an umbrella holder and light stand mount, which makes it perfect for every photographer or videographer. 

Our translucent umbrella is an all white shoot through light modifier umbrella. This umbrella will give you light in a soft and broad ray.  It is constructed of durable and flexible nylon materials and fits easily into many of our Fovitec lighting equipment bags. Umbrellas are very easy to set up and take down on location or in the studio. They are very affordable light modifier for portraiture as well as video productions.  

Our Fovitec 45 Watt (45W) Cool Daylight Fluorescent Photography Video  CFL Light Bulbs deliver true and crisp color with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 90. Meaning, they will render your muslin or paper backdrop or background color accurately to camera with the right white balance setting. They are daylight balanced, also known as white balanced, at 5500K Kelvin that makes them easy to be combined with ambient window light. Fovitec Fluorescent Photography Video Light bulbs are rated to last up to 5+ years at 4+ hours of usage per day. They remain cool to the touch at 90% less heat than incandescent photography bulbs, which makes them great for multiple applications and will reduce your electrical cost. These professional studio lights are based on new technology and produce ultra soft light without harsh shadows.
